Sweet Sixteen

Hardiness / Resistance: Vigorous tree, well adapted to cold climates (developed in Minnesota).

Description: Yellow to red-streaked flesh with a unique, “exotic” flavor — reminiscent of brown sugar or spiced cherry depending on the source.

Use: Fresh eating; very interesting for its distinctive taste.

Notes: Slightly less information on disease resistance than other cultivars, but performs very well in cold climates.
